Good for Farmers, Good for Families.

Greaux the Good, Louisiana's statewide nutrition incentive program, operated by Market Umbrella, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Greaux the Good gives Louisiana direct-to-consumer food purveyors (such as farmers markets, farm stands, and produce stands) the opportunity to create or expand a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) nutrition incentive program.

Greaux the Good provides funding for the direct incentives of the nutrition incentive programs for eligible entities and also provides additional funds for administrative and financial support to incentivize purchases made with SNAP/EBT and/or FMNP. Nutrition incentive programs attract shoppers utilizing benefit program dollars and empowers them to purchase more fresh foods directly from local producers. This mutual exchange between farmers and the community positively impacts the state's agricultural economy and increases local food access.

The primary component of your business must include local-fresh fruits & vegetables. Only Louisiana-owned and operated businesses are eligible for partnerships.
