Greaux the Good created this Privacy Policy to explain why we collect particular information and how we will protect your personal privacy within our website. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for the website located at greauxthegoodla.org and any other site provided by Greaux the Good (collectively, the “Site”).

What Information We Collect and How We Use That Information

Greaux the Good is the sole owner of the information collected on the Site. The Site does not collect personally identifying information about users except when you specifically and knowingly provide it. For example, we collect information in the following ways:

  • Some areas of our Site request or require contact and other information.

  • During sign-up processes, we collect personal and other information such as your name, address, and email address. 

  • Demographic and profile data (such as age, type of business, contact information, business location information and business type, SNAP/FMNP acceptance and match program history, if applicable, additional primary contact information, if different from above.

  • Additionally, this data may be shared with advertisers or other third parties solely on an aggregated basis. We do not share any personally identifying information with any third party without your consent, except to a court or governmental agency if required by law.

Internet Protocol Address

We collect an IP address from all visitors to our Site. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you access the Internet. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our Site, analyze trends, track users’ movement, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use to improve the Site, and deliver personalized content. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. 

When you access this website by or through a mobile device, Greaux the Good may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device used, mobile device unique ID, the IP address of the mobile device, the mobile operating system, the type of mobile browser, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

Our Site may use cookies to enhance your experience while using our Site. Greaux the Good provides users with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us at any time. We give users the following options for removing information from our database to not receive future communications:

  • Additional residual information may remain in our archives and records, however this information will not be used for any commercial purposes. 

Registration and Account Information

You choose to complete the Greaux the Good Partner Interest Form that is listed on the website, you will be transferred to SurveyMonkey to complete this form. You can find information about SurveyMonkey’s privacy policies and practices here. Information collected may include business information, current SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) & FMNP (Farmers Market Nutrition Program) acceptance status, name, email, phone number, and relation to the organization/entity (owner, director, etc). The application to become a Greaux the Good partner is also completed via SurveyMonkey. Responses are exported as a PDF and saved in Google Drive. This information includes: business and operating information, type of entity (501©3, LLC, etc), how many locations they operate with specifics, types of payment they accept, interest in having a SNAP match, FMNP match, or both, previous year data related to match dollars (SNAP & FMNP), vendor counts, policies on reselling, if they have a POS System, and a bank account with a designated contact. We do not collect any social security information at any point during our process.

Transactional Data

We may process information relating to transactions, including payments associated with Greaux the Good program participation. The transactional data we may collect includes banking information once agreements have been signed in order to initiate the direct deposit for the initial preload of funds and subsequent re-loads. The transactional data may be processed for the purpose of keeping proper records of those transactions.

Storing Data

Greaux the Good is based in New Orleans, LA and all data collected is subject to the laws and regulations of the United States. Under certain circumstances, Greaux the Good may be required to disclose user’s personal information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities. 

Data Security

We maintain security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. We do not share or trade your information with third parties. However, no exchange of data over the internet can be guaranteed as 100% secure. While we make every effort to protect your personal information shared with us through our site, you acknowledge that the personal information you voluntarily share with us through this site could be accessed or tampered with by a third party. You agree that we are not responsible for any intercepted information shared through our site without our knowledge or permission. Additionally, you release us from any and all claims arising out of or related to the use of such intercepted information in any unauthorized manner.
